Q:  How much will my cake cost?

A:   Our minimum charge per order is $100.   The final cost of your cake will depend on the number of servings and complexity of the design.  Most cakes fall in the $4.00 to $6.00 per serving range, but complex designs and sculpted cakes may be significantly higher.

 Q:   Where is your shop located?

A:    Our shop is a licensed home-based bakery that is open by appointment only.   We specialize in custom designed cakes, and do not offer any pre-made cakes for sale. 

Q:   Do you deliver?

A:    Yes.   We offer free delivery within a 20 mile radius of our shop in West Hanover Township.  There is a $1.00 per mile charge for each additional mile driven to and from the venue.

Q:   Can I pick up my cake?

A:    While it is generally not a problem for customers to transport smaller cakes, self-transporting any cake is at your own risk.  We do not recommend customers self-transport 3D/sculptural cakes, cakes over 2 tiers tall, or any cake traveling more than 2 hours.  We do not accept any responsibility for damage that may occur to any client transported cake once it has left our shop.

Q:  Do you offer cake tastings?

A:   We do not offer formal cake tasting appointments; however, we would be happy to provide "to-go" samples of the cake and icing flavors we currently have on-hand (wedding cake orders only).  

Q:  How far in advance should I place my order?

A:   Cake orders should be placed a minimum of 2 – 3 weeks in advance.   Our calendar fills up quickly, so it’s best to order as early as possible to secure the date.   We accept a limited number of orders per week, so that we can give each cake the time and attention it deserves.

Q:  Do you require a deposit?

A:   For wedding cakes, a 25% deposit is required to hold the date.   The remaining balance must be paid at least 14 days prior to the delivery date.  Wedding cake deposits are non-refundable. 

 For non-wedding cakes, a 50% deposit is required when the cake is ordered, and the remaining balance is due at least 7 days prior to delivery.  In the event a customer needs to cancel an order, a full refund will be given if the order is canceled at least 72 hours prior to delivery.  The cancel must be conveyed person-to-person (no voicemail, text or email).   If an order is canceled less than 72 hours prior to delivery, no refund will be given.

 Q:  Do you accept credit/debit cards?

A:   Yes, we accept on-line credit/debit card payments through Pay Pal.  You do not have to have a PayPal account.
